Should friends be the same or different? Different people have different ideas.
My mother told me a good friend is like a mirror (镜子). I’m quieter and 1 than most kids. That’s why I like reading books. My best friend Yuan Li is quiet 2 , so we enjoy studying together. I’m shy so it’s not easy for me 3 friends. But I think friends are like books—you don’t need a lot of them if they’re good.
